We had a record number of Daniels Scholarship semi-finalists for Burlington this year including: Breanne Walker, Kinsey Jones, Kyler Winters, Weston Gotfredson, Brynn Preator, Jordan Casey, and Jordan Broederlow! After submitting essays, recommendations, financial information, and transcripts, finalists were notified. CONGRATULATIONS to Brynn Preator, Jordan Broederlow, and Kyler Winters who will undergo personal interviews on February 25 as the last step in the selection process.
The Daniels Scholarship is a full-ride scholarship (up to $25,000 per year) for students in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. Funds are used for tuition and fees, room and board, books/supplies, and any additional miscellaneous expenses, so it’s a very prestigious and highly competitive scholarship award. Having 7 semi-finalists and 3 finalists this year is a tremendous achievement. Only about 230 total scholars are selected each year from within our four state region.
